A sanctuary and place of reprieve from the worries of war and the harsh sands.We are pleased to announce that we accept solari or barter for customer convenience.
Please note, we are no longer accepting granite, plastone, or scrap metal for barter at this time.The Water of Life is located in Sietch Jacurutu, scaling up the cliff face to the north.
The main bar area and grand meeting hall are no-weapons sanctuaries. Peace-bind your weapons before entering for the safety of all guests. The bar reserves the right to refuse service.
Amenities
The Water of Life features a bar and lounge with protected balcony, a grand meeting hall overlooking an honor dueling arena, duelist training area, private rooms, a repair garage, and plenty of on-site hangars for your convenience!
Mechanic's shop: Repairs and Recycling are available at the bottom ground entrance. We employ trained staff who can repair your vehicles. We also provide fuel cells and repair wire for you to repair on your own if you prefer. We also feature a donations box on the bottom floor for public gear and resource exchange.
Bar: 2 floors plus protected balcony, Ample space at the bar, and plenty of comfortable options for seating with several stages for live performances! As an added bonus, if staff are currently unavailable, we have pre-stocked some libations to quench your thirst, just deposit your solaris or barter in the cash box. We would like to keep this an honor system when the bar is unattended.
Private bar room: VIP grants access to the VIP-Chiroptera room upstairs. This room is set up for private parties or events. Please reserve with staff ahead of time and ensure everyone that needs access has been accounted for.
Private Rooms: We have recently added 4 fully furnished rooms with beautiful views directly off the bar area that are available for reservation. Please do not drink and pilot, reserve your room today!
The Grand Meeting Hall
The Seekers are proud to sponsor a Grand Meeting Hall where Atreides, Harkonnen, and neutral parties can meet and negotiate or resolve conflicts in accordance with the laws of Kanly.
As the safety of our guests is our top priority, disputes may be mediated by a neutral party. The Grand Hall features raised seating above our secure shielded dueling arena. The duelist arena, training area, and entrance is completely separate from the meeting hall by design, so guests may enjoy the thrill of an honor duel without the risk of injury.
Smugglers
For guests who value discretion and privacy, follow the cielago or speak with Yaralia.We feature a secret access planning room with Smuggler's dead drop boxes accessible behind the bar and through the Suspicious Storage. We have also constructed a secure hangar and larger smuggler's cache below the standard hangars, nestled between the base and the cliffside accessible through a large maintenance door or down a hatch in the planning room.We have also added a secure live bounty holding annex off the smuggler's hangar.Planning room equipped with a cone of silence.
The Seekers Guild Events
Interested in our events?You're in luck! We have a weekly RP event that is open to all who want to try out the RP scene in Dune. We're working to expand to more kinds of events as time permits (think game show games, party games, bar trivia, communinet broadcasts in the community discord, and more.)We hope you enjoy your time with us as an RP community! Out of Character knowledge does not equate to in character knowledge (if your character doesn't know about the smuggler's room, they'll have to ask, etc.)
For all publicly available resources, please do not be greedy. We try to provide a baseline of courteous service to the community and will restock when able.
For now, bar pricing is RP only if you're not actually buying an item (no need to exchange solari for not actually getting an item). But if you'd like some actual drinks, you're be able to buy food and drink for real!
All Holidy Spice server rules apply to the bar.
Please try to avoid drawing your weapons in the bar itself. As for the private rooms and more secluded areas...OOC I totally support "tense negotiations"! You can make deals with Yaralia for "special privileges" (including corpse disposal future water donations.)
To guarantee space availability, please reserve facilities with Yaralia or a Seekers guild member ahead of time. If you are using a room unreserved and the reserved party shows up, you're getting booted.
Unless interest picks up, reserving a space for a day or less won't cost anything!
